Hello, fellow crafters!! We made it to the middle of the week!! Just a couple of more days until the weekend!!
I have a sweet card to share with you today for Scrappy Tails Crafts!! I just had my first macaron in December and it was so delicious!! When I saw the Sweet Treats Stamp Set, I knew I had to color the macaron!! I decided to make a “batch” and let them take center stage on my card!
I stamped the macaron five times onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Fadeout Ink. I colored them in bright, rainbow colors with Copic markers and fussy cut them out. The Coordinating Dies are available, but I don’t have them yet. (They are on my wish list.) I trimmed the black and white striped patterned paper into strips and colored them with Copics to match the macarons. I adhered the strips to each side of a white A2 size top-folding card base.
The sentiment, also from the Sweet Treats Stamp Set, was stamped onto a panel of white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I thought it was perfect for the batch of macarons!! I trimmed a bit from each side of that panel and adhered it to the front of the card. The macarons were arranged and adhered with foam adhesive. I added some dots to the macarons with a white gel pen and applied some clear glaze to the frosting in the middle of each one.
That’s it! A pretty simple card, but the no-line coloring did take some time, I’m not gonna lie…ha! The Sweet Treats Stamp Set has so many adorable images in it…I can’t wait to use more of them!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope you have a great Wednesday!!
