Aren’t these chimps from Chimply the Best the cutest?!? I knew right away that I wanted to combine them with the Slimline: Stitched Card Panels and Windows for a shaker card!!
I began by stamping the images from Chimply the Best with InkOn3 Fadeout Ink, colored them with Copic markers, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I ink blended two panels of Bristol cardstock with Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Lucky Clover Distress Oxides, splattered them with diluted ink and water, then picked up the excess with a paper towel. I die-cut one of the panels with the Slimline: Stitched Card Panels and Windows die and trimmed the other slightly smaller. The Stitched Card Panels and Windows Die Set also includes the die to cut three evenly spaced squares, perfect for a shaker!! Limeade Parade, Forever Green and Lucky Clover Confetti Mixes were added for the shaker bits. This was adhered to a white panel that was also die-cut using the Slimline: Stitched Card Panels and Windows Die Set. The sentiment, also from Chimply the Best, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock. The vines, monkey and sentiment were adhered to the front of the card. The facial features were drawn in with a black Copic Multi-Liner. I’m thrilled with the way this turned out!! I hope you love it as much as I do!!!
