I have a shaker card to share with you today using the Zen Ocean and the Ocean Bliss stamps sets.
Here is the card I created combining both sets…
I began by blending Distress Oxide Inks onto two panels of Bristol cardstock. I used Faded Jeans, Broken China & a little bit of Wilted Violet. The Zen Ocean stamp was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder onto one of the panels. Next, more Oxide Inks were blended over the top. I used the A2 Double Stitched Frames Honey Cuts to cut a frame for my shaker out of the second panel. The Ocean Bliss mermaid and a few images from the Zen Ocean set were stamped onto Neenah cardstock with Momento Tuxedo black ink and colored with Copic markers. I used colored pencils, a Wink of Stella Clear Pen and a white gel pen to add more detail to some of the images. I fussy cut the colored images (coordinating dies are available here & here, but I didn’t have them yet). Some of the Desert Oasis Sand was added along the bottom of the frame, as well as some of the Natural Abalone Shells. Spring & Coral Shell Sequin Mixes were used to create the shaker, then all images arranged on top of the frame, some with foam adhesive. I added some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops onto the acetate to create “bubbles” for the finishing touch…they are difficult to see in the photos, but add an extra little touch in real life!!
