Hello, crafty friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start!!

It’s Day 1 of sneak peeks for the Honey Bee Stamps Birthday Bliss Release!! Honey Bee is celebrating their 7th birthday and this release is chock-full of birthday goodness, as well as lots of bee themed goodies that we all love!!

My card today features the Vintage Hive Stamp Set & Coordinating Honey Cuts and the Lazy Daisy Pierced A2 Cover Plate!!

I began by stamping the images and sentiment from the Vintage Hive Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. After coloring them with Copic markers, the Coordinating Honey Cuts were used to cut them out. The grass springs were stamped with green ink.

For the background, I die-cut the Lazy Daisy Pierced A2 Cover Plate from a panel of white cardstock and inked the edges with a blending brush and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I die-cut a panel of green cardstock with the grass die in the Horizon Slimline Borders Die Set and trimmed it to fit my A2 card size.

The grass was adhered to the background panel with Bee Creative Glue and the flowers, hive, insects and grass sprigs were arranged and adhered, as well. The bees and sentiment were popped up with foam adhesive. I added some dots to the centers of the flowers with a yellow gel pen and some highlights with a white gel pen and I was finished!!
