Hello, friends and happy Thursday!! I have an Easter card to share today featuring the beautiful Trinity Stamps Stained Glass Lily Stamps & Dies, along with some previously released goodies!! This stamp set is perfect to heat emboss and color with watercolors, which is exactly what I did here!! Let’s get to it!!
I heat embossed the Stained Glass Lily Stamp Set onto Bristol cardstock with WOW! Polished Gold Embossing Powder and watercolored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out.
Next, I die-cut the Oval Foliage Die from white cardstock.
The background panel was die-cut from white cardstock with the Argyle Stitch Background Die, then trimmed it to A2 size. I swiped the edges with an embossing pad, sprinkled on the Polished Gold Embossing Powder and heated it until it was melted. The sentiment, also from the Stained Glass Lily Stamp Set, was heat embossed with the same powder and cut out with its Coordinating Die. There is also a sympathy greeting included in the set, so you can use it for more than Easter cards!!
The argyle stitched background was adhered to a white A2 cardbase with liquid glue and the oval foliage die-cut was adhered to the background, also with liquid glue.
The stained glass die-cut was popped up with adhesive foam strips.
The sentiment was adhered with a combination of liquid glue and adhesive foam strips and this card was finished.
I really love how this turned out!! My mom loves stained glass, so I think I’ll give this to her for Easter!!
Thanks for dropping by today!! Have a great Thursday and I’ll see you soon!!
