Hello, friends and happy Thursday!! I’m sharing a punny wedding card featuring the This Calls For A Toast Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies from Trinity Stamps newest release!! As soon as I saw this stamp set, this idea popped into my head!!

I started by stamping the images from the This Calls For A Toast Stamp Set onto white cardstock using InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I stamped the sentiment, from the same stamp set, onto the toaster using black pigment ink, then heat embossed it with pearl embossing powder. This created a metallic pewter color for the sentiment.

For the background, I added pearl white stencil butter onto a panel of white cardstock through the heart stencil in the Quilted Pattern Trio Stencil Set. Once it was dry, I used the third largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Set A Die Set to cut it out. The largest die in the same set was cut from a panel of pearlescent vellum.

The bow tie for the groom was cut from black cardstock using a die from the Paper Cut Characters Add-on: Pretty Party Princess Die Set. It was adhered to one of the pieces of toast with liquid glue, adding the glue only in the center of the bow. I cut a length of tulle, gathered one end and adhered it to the top of the other piece of toast, then added the smallest pearls in the Pure Pearl Satin Baubles Mix to hide the glue.

The stenciled heart panel was adhered to the pearlescent vellum. It was then adhered to an A2 white card base, adding liquid glue only behind the cardstock.

I created a little “poof” on top of the toast with the tulle and adhered it to the back of the piece of toast. The toaster and both pieces of toast were popped up onto the front of the card with foam tape.

The tiniest Black Eyed Baubles were adhered to the eyes on the toast and a pair of Creamy Vanilla Heart Sprinkles adds a bit more dimension to the toaster.

Isn’t this so fun?!? This would also be easy to create in the couple’s wedding colors, but kept mine neutral. It could also be used for an anniversary!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful Wednesday and I’ll see you soon!!
