Hello, crafty friends and welcome to the Alex Syberia Designs August Release Blog Hop & Giveaway!! Well, Alex has done it again with some unique and stunning products in the new Have A Good Day Release!! I am IN LOVE with the Avian Allure Stamp Set!! I began by stamping the bird, flowers and brannch onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them with Copic markers, Added highlights to the bird with a white gel pen, dots to the centers of the flowers with a yellow gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

For the background, I die-cut the Floral Splendor Cover Die from dark blue cardstock and layered it over another dark blue panel that was die-cut with the largest rectangle die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangles Die Set. The branch, floral and bird die-cuts were arranged and adhered toward the top of the background with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape, then the excess was trimmed from the left edge.

The sentiment is from the Thank You & Hello Die Set. The top layer of “hello” was cut once from bright lime green cardstock and two times from heavyweight white cardstock, while the shadow layer was cut twice from heavyweight white cardstock. The layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue and added to the front of the card. I found some iridescent lime green rhinestones in my stash that matched perfectly, to finish if off.
