My card today features the stunning new Elegant Peony Die Set and the Charming Flora Cover Die, with a sentiment from the Beautiful Day Stamps & Dies!!
I began by die-cutting the Elegant Peony Die Set from pale yellow and green cardstock. I added a bit of shading using dye inks and blending brushes, then adhered it together with liquid glue.
The background was die-cut from white cardstock using the Charming Flora Cover Die. I die-cut a frame from pink cardstock using the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set. It was adhered to the background and the peony was then adhered with liquid glue.
The sentiment, from the Beautiful Day Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was also die-cut three more times from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered behind the stamped one, then adhered to the front of the card. Pale yellow gems finish off the card.
