Let’s get to my project!! I combined the stunning Clematis Dies and the Delicate Frame & Friend Die Set!!

I started by die-cutting the Clematis Dies from green, yellow and two shades of purple cardstock. I added shading to the die-cuts with blending brushes and dye inks to add some dimension, then adhered all the pieces together.

The frame from the Delicate Frame & Friend Die Set was cut from white cardstock and adhered to a white A2 background. The clematis was adhered with liquid glue.

The “friend” sentiment is also from the Delicate Frame & Friend Die Set. The top layer was die-cut from a panel of light purple cardstock that was blended with two shades of purple ink. I also die-cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the purple one. The shadow layer was die-cut twice from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered behind the top layers, then adhered to the front of the card. The “hello” sentiment is from the Minimalist Flowers Press Plate Set. It was pressed onto white cardstock with purple ink using the BetterPress System, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up with foam tape and this card was finished.

I absolutely LOVE the Clematis Die Set!! I have five clematis plants in my yard that produce the most vibrant purple blooms in the spring and summer!!
