Happy Tuesday, friends!! Last week, I told you that I was low on baby cards, so I decided to create another one for my stash using the Safari Babies stamp set from Honey Bee!!
I stamped these adorable giraffes from the Safari Babies stamp set onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored with Copics and cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also white heat embossed the sentiment (from the same stamp set) onto black cardstock and die- cut it out.
For the background panel, I ink blended Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink onto yellow cardstock with a blending brush using the River Rock Background Stencil. (I LOVE how well this mimicked giraffe spots!) I trimmed the panel down and added it to a brown panel cut with the largest of the Scallop A2 Card Frames Honey Cuts.
A piece of yellow gingham paper from the Spring Lullaby Paper Pad was trimmed into a square. I added it to another scalloped panel of brown cardstock and trimmed off each side, leaving a scalloped border along the top and bottom. I adhered it to the ink-blended background panel.
The die-cuts were popped up with foam adhesive and a few Summer Sun Confetti pieces were added for the finishing touch!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you soon!!!
Brenda, your card is simply precious! I love giraffes! So sweet!
