Happy Tuesday, crafty friends!! I have a simple, die-cut Christmas card featuring the Lovely Layers: Christmas Cookies Honey Cuts from the Honey Bee Stamps Cozy Christmas Release to share today!! I’m much better at making and decorating paper sugar cookies than the real thing…ha!! This die set is so much fun!!

I started by die-cutting all the pieces for my sugar cookies from cream, red, green, black, two colors of brown and white cardstock and plaid patterned paper from the Happy Hearts Paper Pad using the Lovely Layers: Sugar Cookies Die Set. I blended a bit of Tea Dye Distress Oxide Ink around the outside of the cream cardstock using Beeluxe Blending Brushes. All the elements were adhered together using Bee Creative Glue. (I cut the top layer of the candy cane from both red and white cardstock and inlaid the die-cuts inside the red outline.)

Next, I die-cut a piece of pattern paper from the What’s Cookin’ – Limited Edition A2 Paper Pack with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. I also die-cut a panel of plaid cardstock from the Make It Merry Paper Pad with the largest die in the same die set and adhered the layers together with Bee Creative Glue.

The sentiment is already printed on the pattern paper…bonus!! All the cookies were arranged and popped up with foam tape. I added Glossy Accents to the eyes, noses, candy cane stripes, ornaments and buttons to finish off the card.
