Happy Fri-YAY friends!! I can’t believe that there is less than 2 weeks left in July!! This month has flown by!!
I love to challenge myself to pull one stamp from a particular set and create a card with it!! It stretches me creatively and allows me to get more mileage from my stamp sets!!
Today, I pulled the bee from the Picture Sentiments stamp set from Trinity Stamps and this is what I came up with…
I started by stamping the bees from the Picture Sentiments stamp set onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored them with Copic markers and fussy cut them out. I die-cut “BEE” from pink and black cardstock and adhered the letters together, slightly offset. “Happy” was die-cut from yellow and black cardstock with the Happy Senti-Mini Dies. They were also adhered slightly offset. For the background, I ink blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto Bristol paper with a blending brush and matted it with pink cardstock, before adhering it to my cardbase. The die-cut greeting and the bees were adhered as shown using foam adhesive. Black Eyed Beads were used to create the trails coming from the bees and create some movement on the card. I also used a Black Eyed Bead for an eye on each of the bees and added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze for a little shine on the wings.
That’s it for me today!! I hope I’ve inspired you to challenge yourself and use the individual images in your stamp sets!!
I’ll see you soon!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
