Hello fellow crafters!! Welcome back for Honey Bee Tuesday!! I have a super-cute Valentine’s Day card to share with your “honey”!!!
I knew I wanted to create a “frame” around my little scene, so I started off by using the A2 Double Stitched Frame Honey Cuts to cut a window in a panel of white cardstock. I also used a score board to score a frame around the die cut window, to add a little more interest to the front of the card. I used the Hexagon Bunches Honey Cuts with gold glitter paper, then adhered that in the center of a panel of black cardstock, cut slightly larger than the white frame. I adhered the white frame onto the black panel with dimensional adhesive. Next, I punched a heart from red cardstock to house my sentiment. The “Bee” is from the Bee-You-Tiful Honey Cuts and was cut from black cardstock and gold glitter paper. The “mine” portion of the sentiment is from the Bee-You-Tiful Sentiments set; it was stamped with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder onto the heart. I stamped two of the bees and a small heart from the Busy Bees set, colored them with Copic markers, then die-cut them with the Coordinating Dies. The heart, bees and small heart were all adhered with foam adhesive. A few sequins from the Indian Summer Sequin Mix were the finishing touch.
Thanks so much for joining me today!! Happy crafting!!!
