Hello friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start!! I have a project for Honey Bee Stamps today!
It happens to be my mom’s birthday!! So, obviously I needed a birthday card. I wanted something with flowers in fall colors…Winter Anemones to the rescue!!
I began by stamping the floral images from the Winter Anemone set with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink onto white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers, adding some detail with a yellow gel pen. The Winter Anemone Honey Cuts were used to cut out the images. For the background, I ink-blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink through one of the stencils from the Polka Dot Background Stencil Pack. I used the smallest polka dots. I also blended some Tumbled Glass over the panel once I removed the stencil, to soften it a bit. The polka dot panel was trimmed slightly and adhered to a top folding note card. I adhered a floral cluster in opposite corners with foam adhesive and cut off the excess that hung over the edges. I cut “happy” from plum cardstock and vellum using the Happy Honey Cuts, then adhered it with foam adhesive. “Birthday”, from the Enjoy stamp set, was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder onto a plum cardstock strip. A few Moonlight Rhinestones were the perfect finishing touch!!
I sure hope my mom likes it!!
Have a great week everyone!!!
