Hello, fellow crafters and card makers!! I hope your week is going well!! I’m sharing a simple birthday card for Crafty Meraki that really looks like you put in more effort than you did!!

I started by die-cutting the sentiment using dies in the Greetings Slimline Tag Die Set. I cut the “greetings” once from red cardstock, once from black cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. I stacked and adhered them together with liquid adhesive, slightly offsetting the black layer.

Next, I cut “birthday” from black cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. These were also stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, with the white layer offset.

The background is from the Celebrate Good Times Paper Pack. It was trimmed slightly smaller than A2 and adhered to an A2 panel of black cardstock, then a white card base with liquid glue. The stacked die-cuts were adhered to the background with liquid adhesive and this card was finished.

Thank you so very much for stopping by!! Have a great day!!
