Birthday Hugs – Crafty Meraki

Hello, crafters and happy Wednesday!! I’m sharing a birthday card for Crafty Meraki featuring the Petal Poetry Stamp Set and a sneak peek at one of the new products in Monday’s upcoming release!!

I started by stamping the flowers and leaves in the Petal Poetry Stamp Set onto bristol smooth cardstock with black pigment ink. I sprinkled on clear detail embossing powder and melted it with my heat gun. I colored it with Karin Brushmarker Pro markers, added dots to the centers of the flowers with a yellow gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

The Marrakech Mosaic Die was cut from white cardstock and I trimmed about 1/4″ from each side. I also trimmed a white card base to the same size. (I wanted a scalloped edge on my card.)

Here’s a sneak peek of one of the dies in the new Timeless Frames Die Set that will be released on Monday. It was die-cut from burnt orange cardstock.

The Marrakech Mosaic die-cut was adhered to the card base and the frame was adhered on top using Bearly Art liquid glue.

The smaller clusters of flowers and leaves were arranged and adhered to the background with using liquid glue. The largest bouquet was popped up with foam tape.

The sentiment is from the Whimsical Magnolias Press-Tacular Plate. It was pressed onto white cardstock using black pigment ink and the BetterPress System. The Coordinating Die was used to cut it out, then it was adhered with foam tape. A trio of Apricot Dew Drops in opposite corners was the perfect finishing touch.

That does it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
