Hey, friends!! I hope you are all doing well & are ready for Christmas!! We are celebrating with my sister-in-law’s family tonight, since they will be out of town over Christmas Eve & Christmas Day this year. I can’t believe it’s here already!!
I’m working on stocking up my birthday cards again. My mom came out the other day and raided my stash!! That’s okay though, I love that she loves to send my cards! She’s actually better at sending them out than I am…ha!! I combined some Pinkfresh Studios and Crafty Meraki goodies for my card today!!
I began by white heat embossing the Infinite Blooms Stamp Set onto Bristol smooth cardstock. I watercolored it with Karin Brushmarker Pro Markers, then cut it out with the Coordinating Die. I also die-cut two more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the watercolored one for dimension.
For the background, I white heat embossed the Diamond Tiles Background Stamp onto another panel of Bristol smooth cardstock. I watercolored it with some of the same colors of markers that I used in the floral, being sure to heavily dilute them with water for a softer look. The panel was die-cut with a rectangle die and adhered to a white, top-folding card base.
The stacked floral die-cuts were then adhered to the front of the card. The sentiment, from the Birthday Bouquet Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, fussy cut and popped up with foam tape. Lastly, I added some Purple Dream Meraki Sparkles for a little sparkle and shine!
Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and all the best in the new year!!
