Hello, friends!! I hope your Tuesday is off to a great start!!
I have a super-cute card to share with you today for Honey Bee Stamps featuring all of the ghouls and goblins from the Trick or Treat Stamp Set!!
I began by stamping all of the images in the Trick or Treat Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. Once I colored them with Copics, I cut them out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts. I set them aside and went to work on my background.
I wanted a spooky, night sky so I pulled out some alcohol inks. I used Sailboat, Amethyst and Silver Metallic Mixative on a panel of alcohol ink cardstock. I also splattered on some diluted white gouache. Once it was dry, I die-cut it with the third largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangle Die Set. I also die-cut a panel of black cardstock with the second largest die in the same set. The grass and tree silhouettes were also cut from black cardstock using the Horizon Slimline Borders and Trick or Treat Honey Cuts.
The moon was die cut from white cardstock with one of the dies in the Sweet Stacks: Circles Honey Cuts. I added some shading with gray Copic markers. I adhered the moon, trees and grass to the alcohol ink panel with Bee Creative Glue and trimmed away the excess. All of the cute little critter and accessory die-cuts were adhered next, popping most of them up with foam adhesive.
The sentiment is a combination of the Boo Buzzwords Honey Cuts and the Trick or Treat Stamp Set. “Trick or Treat” was stamped onto orange cardstock with Intense Black Ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. The top layer of “BOO” was die-cut from black glitter cardstock and the bottom layer from orange cardstock. The sentiments were adhered over the moon with Bee Creative Glue.
Lastly, I added black glaze pen accents to the eyes and noses of the critter and jack-o-lanterns and some highlights with a white gel pen.
I can’t wait to send this to my niece for Halloween!! I think she will absolutely love it!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you soon!!
