Hello!! Happy Thursday!! I hope you are ready for a fun-filled week!! The Honey Bee Spring Release Sneak Peeks start today and run through Monday. There is also a HUGE blog hop scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday!!! This release is GINORMOUS!!!!! You’re not gonna want to miss a thing!! The card I am sharing today uses two new dies…Bee Hive and Branch & Leaves.

With all of the adorable bees that Honey Bee is known for, I know I will get plenty of use from these dies!! Not to mention, that branch can be used in so many ways!!! Let’s get to my card, shall we?

I began by die-cutting both the branch & leaves and the bee hive from white cardstock, as I wanted to color and add shading with Copic markers. After coloring, all the elements were all adhered together. I blended Salty Ocean Distress Oxide onto white cardstock using the cloud stencil from the Outdoor Scene Builder Set. The bees, from the Busy Bees set, were stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored with Copics, then cut with the Coordinating Dies. The sentiment, from Sweet As Honey, was stamped in the lower right corner with Versafine Onyx Black Ink, as were the “trails” behind the bees. The branch & leaves, hive and bees were all popped up with dimensional adhesive. Aurora Lights Confetti Mix was scattered along the bottom for the finishing touch.
