Hello, fellow crafters!! I have a festive mini slimline card to share today for Crafty Meraki that’s perfect for an Independence Day celebration!!

I began by stamping the cupcake from the Be Your Own Kind of Cupcake Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut it out.

For the background, I die-cut the Stargazer Mini Slimline Die from white cardstock and layered it over a white mini slimline card base that measures 3.5″ wide x 6.25″ tall. I used the two smaller rectangle dies in the Birthday Star Mini Slimline Die Set to die-cut a frame from blue cardstock and adhered it over the die-cut background with liquid glue.

The die-cut sentiment is from the Exclusive Class Kit and only available in that kit. It was die-cut from red and white cardstock. The cupcake and sentiment were both popped up with foam tape. The stars were die-cut from red and blue cardstock using dies from the Sweet Celebrations Die Set. They were adhered to the background with liquid glue and I added some holographic stars from my stash for a bit of shine.

That’s it for me today!! I hope those of you in the US have a very happy and safe Independence Day!! Thanks for stopping by!!
