Good morning, friends!! I have a fun Christmas card to share with you today that features the Tall Shaker Dome Die Set from Trinity Stamps.

I just love the unusual shape of this snow globe! I started by cutting all of the elements from Bristol Smooth, white, blue and frosted silver cardstock using the Tall Shaker Dome Dies. I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks and Blending Buddy Brushes for the sky and snowy hills, then splattered on some diluted white gouache.

I added yellow cardstock behind the little houses in my village so that it would appear that the lights were on inside. Christmas, from the Christmas Senti-mini stamp set was white heat embossed onto the blue cardstock label. All of the components of the snow globe were adhered together as shown, then adhered to a panel of light blue, snowflake patterned paper. Merry was die-cut from silver glitter paper and vellum using the Merry Christmas Senti-mini Dies, then adhered to the top of the snow globe. I added some White Blizzard Nuvo Drops to the hills of snow and dotted it around on the background panel.

I am in love with how this turned out!! I can’t wait to make more snow globes with other things inside!!
Thanks for hanging out with me!! I’ll see you soon!!
