Happy Sunday, fellow crafters!! I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!! I got a head-start on my Christmas gift-giving by creating some tags using the Scrappy Tails Crafts Christmas In July Card Kit!! This kit is jam-packed with sooooo many goodies!! You can create cards, ornaments, tags, pop-up cards, postcards…the list goes on!! I decided to use the Christmas Postcards and Tags Stamp Set and Coordinating Die Bundle to create some adorable holiday tags!!
I simply stamped images from the Christmas Postcards and Tags Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink, colored them with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I selected Copic colors that matched closely to the color story of the Christmas In July Paper Pad. Some of the images weren’t necessarily tags, so I used my Crop-o-dile (remember that?!?) to add holes to them.
Next, I used the same dies to cut the striped and polka-dot patterned paper from the Christmas In July Paper Pad. I layered them behind the colored ones and tied them together with red and white twine.
Easy peasy!! It feels so good to have a head start on my handmade tags for the holidays!! Now I’ll be on the lookout for gift wrap to match…lol!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I’ll see you soon!!
