Hello, fellow crafters and happy Thursday!!
I have a Christmas card to share with you today featuring the Spruce Up Layering Tree Die Set from Crafty Meraki!!

I started by doing all of my die-cutting with the Spruce Up Layering Tree Die Set. I die-cut the layers of the tree from green cardstock and the ornaments, packages and bows from blue and purple cardstock. The garland and star were cut from gold glitter cardstock. I added some simple shading to the tree, ornaments and gifts with Copic markers. To add some shine to the layers of the tree, I swiped some Versamark ink along the bottom edges and heat embossed them with Fairy Dust Embossing Powder.

For the background, I started with an A2 panel of light blue cardstock. I blended some Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide around the outer edge, fading to the light blue cardstock in the center. A piece of white iridescent glitter paper was trimmed to size and adhered to the bottom of the blue panel.

All of the die-cuts were adhered to the background panel with liquid adhesive. I only added glue to the upper part of each of the tree layers and curled the bottoms out for dimension. I finished off the card by splattering it with some diluted white gouache.

I chose to not add a sentiment to the outside, but I think it’s pretty obvious that it’s a Christmas card!
Thank you so much for spending a bit of your day with me! I appreciate it!!
