Happy weekend, friends!! I hope your weekend is off to a great start!! I’m sharing a thank you card today featuring the beautiful Clematis Poet Etched Die Set from The Poet’s Garden Collection designed by Susan Tierney-Cockburn for Spellbinders!! This stunning collection includes three new floral sets and a sentiment press plate set, which includes the coordinating dies!!

I started by die-cutting the Clematis Poet Dies from Fairy Tale, Rainforest and Beeswax cardstock. I added shading with dye inks using blending brushes, then shaped the die-cuts with Susan’s Garden Ultimate Tool Kit. I adhered all the pieces together with liquid glue.

For the background, I trimmed a panel of white cardstock to slightly smaller than A2 and embossed it with the Petunia Cascade 3D Embossing Folder. I diluted the same purple and blue inks that I used on the flowers, then splattered them onto the panel. Once dry, it was adhered to an A2 panel of Fairy Tale cardstock, then the flowers and leaves were adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment is from The Poet’s Garden Sentiments Press + Foil Set. It was pressed onto white cardstock with purple ink using the BetterPress System, then cut out with the coordinating die included in the set. I die-cut three additional layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the stamped one, then popped it up with foam squares. Prism AB Color Essential Gems were the perfect finishing touch.
