Hello crafty friends!! I hope you enjoyed the Cheerful Love Release from Honey Bee last week!!! So much goodness!! I have a wish list a mile long…lol.

We’re coming up on graduation season & I always seem to get some unexpected announcements in the mail!! I am stocking up on graduation cards this year, so I don’t get caught off-guard and end up throwing something together rather quickly or buying one (gasp!!!).

I LOVE the balloons included in the Penny the Platypus set!! They are so versatile & can be used for any occasion!! I decided to use them on a graduation card this time. I began by stamping both balloons from the set with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink several times onto Neenah solar white cardstock, overlapping and masking where needed. I stamped the sentiment from Congrats Grad toward the bottom of the panel, also using Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. A narrow piece of post-it tape was used to mask off the sentiment, then I drew in the strings with a Copic Mulit-Liner. All of the balloons were colored with Copic markers, being sure to use the color of the balloon behind, to make the balloons appear transparent. A gray Copic was used to draw in the strings that are behind balloons. The panel was trimmed slightly, then adhered onto an A2 sized black cardstock panel. The Carousel Lights Confetti Mix was sprinkled onto the card for lots of festive confetti!!
