Hello, crafters!! I’m sharing another way to use the Bouquet Builder Para-Dies Set from Crafty Meraki in order to stretch your stash!! This die-set includes dies to create a wrapper to wrap around your bouquet, which is very beautiful. Today, I’m using the floral and leaf dies only on this card that I’m going to add to my stash of wedding cards!!
I began by die-cutting the flowers and leaves several times from white cardstock using the Bouquet Builder Para-Dies Set. I added color and shading using Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Rustic Wilderness, Cracked Pistachio, Salvaged Patina and Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Inks. The layers were stacked and adhered together using liquid glue.
For the background, I die-cut a panel of floral paper from the For the Love of Flowers Paper Pack with a rectangle die and adhered it to a white card base. An oval die was cut from white cardstock and a scalloped oval from vellum. They were adhered to the center of the background and the flowers and leaves were arranged and adhered with liquid glue.
The sentiment is from the Gilded Expressions Press-Tacular Plate. It was foiled onto white cardstock using matte gold hot foil and a Glimmer System, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. I also die-cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the foiled one, then adhered it under the bouquet. I added Icicle Stickles to the centers of the large flowers and Rosy Radiance Opal Gems to the smaller ones and this card was finished.
That does it for me today!! Thank you so much for stopping by!! I’ll see you soon!!
