Don’t Forget to Smell Flowers – Alex Syberia Designs

Hello, fellow crafters and happy Memorial Day to those of you in the US!! I’m sharing a sweet card featuring some of the adorable critters from the Alex Syberia Designs Hoppy Easter Stamp Set today!!

I began by stamping the images in the Hoppy Easter Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

For the background, I die-cut the Floral Splendor Cover Die from white cardstock and adhered it onto a white A2 top-folding cardbase. I trimmed a narrow panel of white cardstock, blended it with Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks and adhered it across the background. The scalloped border was created by die-cutting the largest scalloped rectangle in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set from pink cardstock, then die-cutting the second largest rectangle die in the same set from the center. I trimmed the long sides from the frame and adhered them to each side of the ink-blended panel, then trimmed away the excess from the sides. Once the scene was arranged, all the cute little die-cuts were adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment is also from the Hoppy Easter Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die, popped up with foam tape and this card was finished.

That does it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope you all have a wonderful week!!
