This month Ellen Hutson has a Mix It Up Challenge featuring Altenew. Since I love both of these fabulous companies, it was a no brainer to play along!!I played with alcohol inks and Yupo paper for the first time, to create the background panel. I am itching to get back to my craft room to make more backgrounds now…it was so much fun!! The flowers and leaves from the Altenew Adore You set are great to color!! They were stamped with Versamark Ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder, and then colored with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers, before being fussy cut. The sentiment is from the Essentials by Ellen Mondo Hydrangea set and was also heat embossed onto the background with white embossing powder. I adhered the alcohol inked background onto some silver glitter paper from my stash, then popped that up onto fun foam onto my card base. The leaves were adhered to the card panel, while the flowers were popped up with foam adhesive for some dimension. Glass Slippers Round Confetti Mix from The Ton were the finishing touch!!
