Hello, friends!! It’s Friday!! YAY!!

I have a pretty simple scene card to share with you for Scrappy Tails Crafts!! It only uses one stamp & die set!! As much as I love to mix-and-match products, sometimes it’s nice to keep it simple with just one or two sets!!

I began by stamping the girl, scooter and lamp from the J’adore (Paris Besties) Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them with Copic markers and used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

For the background, I masked off the top portion of a panel of white cardstock and blended Pumice Stone and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Inks onto the bottom of the panel with blending brushes. Then I splattered it with a bit of diluted Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink before removing the mask. I added some subtle color to the sky with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and a blending brush.

The sentiment, also from the J’adore (Paris Besties) Stamp Set, was stamped directly onto the background panel with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. The panel was trimmed slightly and and adhered to an A2 panel of pink cardstock, then to a white card base. The lamp was adhered with liquid glue, while the scooter and girl were popped up with foam tape. I added some highlights with a white gel pen and I was finished.
