Happy weekend, friends!! I have a fall card to share today that combines several goodies from the August Papertrey Ink release!! I fell in love with the Tall Pumpkin Slices and Tall Pumpkin Slices Stitched Dies as soon as I laid eyes on them!! There is also a jack-o-lantern die included, if you wish to make a jack-o-lantern!!

I started by die-cutting the Tall Pumpkin Slices and Tall Pumpkin Slices Stitched Dies from Aqua Mist and Bitty Big: Aqua Mist cardstock. The stem and tendrils were cut from Simply Chartreuse cardstock and the solid pumpkin in the Tall Pumpkin Slices Die Set was cut from white cardstock. The solid pumpkin was cut from white cardstock and inked with Pinefeather Ink. Ripe Avocado Ink was used to add shading to the stem and Aqua Mist and Pinefeaher Inks were used to add shading to the outside edges of the pumpkin slices. I stitched the pumpkins with peach embroidery thread, then adhered them to the solid layer, popping up the polka dot slices with foam tape.

For the background, I lightly blended Ripe Avocado, Summer Sunrise and Canyon Clay onto an A2 panel of white cardstock through the Wandering Petals Stencils. I blended Aqua Mist and Pinefeather inks around the outside of the panel, then splattered it with diluted Canyon Clay, Aqua Mist and Pinefeather inks using a paintbrush. I needed something to ground my pumpkin, so I die-cut the grass from the Perfectly Potted Die Set twice from Simply Chartreuse cardstock and blended a bit of Ripe Avocado Ink along the bottom. It was adhered to the bottom of the background panel and the excess was trimmed from the edges. The pumpkin was adhered with liquid glue.

Both of the sentiments are from the This Is Big: Fall Harvest Stamp Set. They were stamped onto white cardstock with Canyon Clay Ink. “Fall Harvest” was die-cut with the Coordinating Die, along with another layer from each Ripe Avocado and white cardstock. Pinefeather Ink was blended onto the white layer, then they were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, slightly offset. The sub-sentiment was trimmed into a narrow banner. I added the colored strips below, adhered it to the background with liquid glue and trimmed the excess from the left side. Lots of peach pearl stickers finish off the card.

I love the aqua pumpkin, but I can’t wait to create more of these pumpkins in other colors!!
That’s it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! See you soon!!
