Hello, friends and happy Tuesday!! I hope you had a nice, long holiday weekend!!
I have a mostly die-cut card to share with you today for Honey Bee Stamps!! This is one of those cards that is so eye-catching in real life, but is really difficult to capture in photos because of all of the shine from the holographic and mirror cardstock. I absolutely LOVE how the Autumn Splendor A2 Cover Plate Die looks on the mirror cardstock though…the details in the leaves is AMAZING!!
I began by die-cutting the Autumn Splendor A2 Coverplate Die from Gold Pearl and Inca Gold cardstocks. I layered and adhered those together, slightly offset with the gold cardstock on the top. A piece of patterned paper from the Halloween Harvest Paper Pad was trimmed to A2 size and adhered to a top-folding cardbase, then the layered die-cuts were adhered on top.
The sentiment, from the Sweater Weather Stamp Set, was stamped onto cream cardstock with brown ink. I stamped the sentiment again with Versamark Ink and embossed it with Enchanted Gold Embossing Powder. The Sweater Weather Honey Cuts were used to die-cut the sentiment, as well as an extra layer from the Inca Gold Cardstock. The holographic cardstock was layered behind the sentiment die-cut, off-set a bit, then adhered with foam adhesive. A few Jewel of Gold Rhinestones add even more sparkle and shine!
I LOVE how this turned out!! The way the light hits the Inca Gold Cardstock combined with the detail in those leaves is just incredible!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!
