Feel Better – Hero Arts December Die of the Month

Hello, friends!! I’m sharing an all die-cut “get well” card featuring the Hero Arts December Die of the Month “Alphabet Soup” today!! This set comes with several sentiment dies that are already spelled out for you to choose from, as well as several clusters of letters and an individual alphabet that makes adding the letters simple and the card easy to personalize!!

I began by die-cutting all of the elements from the December Die of the Month from Teal Topaz, pale yellow, Beeswax, Alabaster, Rainforest, pale peach and matte silver cardstock. I added a bit of shading to the arms, crackers and alphabet letters with Tea Dye Distress Ink and blending brushes.

A piece of red plaid pattern paper from the Honey Bee Stamps Happy Hearts Paper Pad was cut with a rectangle die and adhered to a white A2 card base. The bowl and left arm were adhered with liquid glue, then the swirls, herbs and letters were adhered inside the bowl, also using liquid glue.

The crackers were adhered with a combination of liquid glue and foam squares and the right arm was adhered with foam squares. The excess was trimmed from each edge and this card was finished.

I love how this turned out!! And it came together pretty quickly!!

That’s it for me today!! Have a wonderful week!!
