Good morning, friends!! I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of winter already!! I think the birds from Trinity Stamps on today’s card are as well…ha!!
They are so adorable, cuddled up under that scarf!!
I began by stamping the birds from Season’s Tweetings and the birdhouse from Gingerbird House onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Fadeout Ink. After coloring the images with Copic markers, they were cut out using the coordinating Season’s Tweetings and Gingerbird House dies. I added some white Nuvo drops for frosting and a snow marker for some snow on the birdhouse. A black Copic Multi-liner was used to add in the details for the eyes, beaks and claws.
For the background, I die-cut the clouds using the Slimline Card Series: Scenic Border Die Set from some heavyweight white cardstock and used it as a stencil. I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and a Blending Buddy on Bristol cardstock. I trimmed a bit from each side of the panel and adhered it to an A2 size panel of red cardstock. A die-cut branch was added at the top of the panel to “hang” the birdhouse from. The sentiment, also from the Season’s Tweetings stamp set, was stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink toward the bottom of the card. The birdhouse was popped up onto the background with foam adhesive and the birds were added to the birdhouse with more foam tape.
A black and white twine bow was added at the top of the birdhouse and a sprinkling of Frosty Snowflakes completes the card!
That’s it!! This turned out cuter than what I pictured in my head! I LOVE it when that happens!!
Have a great weekend and I’ll see you soon!!!
