Hello, fellow crafters and card makers!! I hope this finds you all well!! I’m sharing a colorful card featuring goodies from the latest January release from Picket Fence Studios!! Combining new products with previously released ones is one of my favorite things to do, so I couldn’t resist combining the rainbow cake from the Sugar and Calorie Free Cake Stamp Set with the Another Rainbow Die For All Seasons Die Set!!

I normally start with my focal point image, but in this case I began with my background so that I could color my cake to match the ink colors that I used on the rainbow and sprinkles. I stenciled the Sprinkles 6×8 Layering Stencil Set onto a panel of white cardstock using Pint-sized Paper Pouncers and Distress Oxide Inks. I used Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed. I trimmed the panel slightly smaller than A2 and adhered it to a panel of blue cardstock, before adding it to a white card base.

Next, I die-cut all of the pieces in the Another Rainbow For All Seasons Die Set from white cardstock. I used Pint-sized Paper Pouncers with the same Distress Oxide Inks that I used on the background to add color the the rainbow stripes, then adhered them to the solid rainbow shape. It was then adhered to the background panel with liquid glue.

The cake from the Sugar and Calorie Free Cake Stamp Set was stamped onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored the cake with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut it out, along with the sentiment. They were both popped up with foam adhesive and my card was finished.
