Hello, friends!! I hope things are okay in your part of the world!!
I just finished filing some of my finished cards by occasion and I realized that I hardly have any baby cards. Lucky for me, Honey Bee recently released some ADORABLE baby sets!!
I began by stamping the adorable elephants in the Safari Babies stamp set onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored them with Copics and cut them out with the Coordinating Die. I used a black glaze pen and white gel pen on the larger elephant’s eyes. For the background, I ink blended Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink onto white cardstock through the flower layer of the Flower Builder Background Stencil with a blending brush. Once that was dry, I spread Nuvo Moonstone Glimmer Paste onto the centers with the other stencil included in the Flower Builder Background Stencil Set.
To create the sentiment, I stamped “A little something for your sweet” from Safari Babies and “girl” from the Baby Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink and clear heat embossed it. I die-cut one of those with the Safari Babies Coordinating Dies and cut the others into strips. The rest of the sentiment was created using the Baby Honey Cuts. I wanted the pink on my die-cuts to match exactly, so I ink-blended Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide onto white cardstock and die-cut the top layer from that. The other two layers were cut from white cardstock and vellum. I also die-cut the A2 Thin Frames Honey Cuts from white cardstock and added one to my background panel.
The sentiment die cuts and strips, as well as the cute elephants, were adhered with foam tape. A few Bokeh Lights Confetti pieces were added for a little sparkle!!
Thanks so much for hanging out with me for a bit today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!!
Oh, my goodness, Brenda, your card is so sweet. I love baby elephants. Too cute!
