Friend – You Cracker Me Up – Trinity Stamps

Hello, crafty friends!! I’m sharing a punny friendship card for Trinity Stamps today!! I’m always game for a good pun and the Brie-lliant Sentiments Stamp Set is packed with lots of great ones to coordinate with the Extra Cheese Stamp Set!!

I began by stamping the images from the Extra Cheese Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

Next, I stamped the Abstract Scratch Background Stamp onto white cardstock with bright pink ink. It was die-cut with the third largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Rectangle Set B Die Set. A panel of blue cardstock was cut with the largest die in the same set. The third largest die in the Dainty Scallop Circle Die Set was cut from the same blue cardstock and a white circle was cut with a die from the Clean Cut Layers Circles Set B Die Set.

For the sentiment, I die-cut the top layer of one of the “friend” dies in the Simply Sentimental: Friend Die Set once from bright pink cardstock and two times from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was cut twice from heavyweight white cardstock. The supporting sentiment, from the Brie-lliant Sentiments Stamp Set was stamped onto white cardstock with bright pink dye ink. I used one of the dies in the Emergency Card Essentials Set #1 Die Set to cut it out, then trimmed each end.

The rectangle and circle layers were adhered to a white A2 card base using liquid glue. The charcuterie board, cheese and cracker were adhered to the circle, also using liquid glue.

The sentiment die-cuts were stacked and adhered together, then added to the front of the card. The sub-sentiment was popped up with foam tape.

To finish, a sprinkling of Watermelon Sparkle Spots adds a little sparkle without the bulk.

That does it for me today!! Thanks so much for dropping by!!
