Happy Saturday, crafty friends!! I hope your weekend is off to a great start!! I have a sweet friendship card to share today featuring one of the images from the Spill the Tea Stamp Set from Pink & Main!!

I began by stamping the darling image from the Spill the Tea Stamp Set onto Ice Rink cardstock using Asphalt ink. I colored it with Copics, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Die to cut it out.

For the background, I blended a panel of Ice Rink cardstock with Mowed Lawn and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks, then splattered it with the same inks, which were diluted with a bit of water. Once dry, it was die-cut with the largest die in the Scallop Rectangles Die Set. It was adhered to a panel of plaid cardstock from the Year Round Plaids Paper Pack that was die-cut with the largest die in the Layered Rectangles A2 Die Set.

The sentiment, from the Tea Time Stamp Set, was stamped directly onto the background panel with Asphalt ink. “Hugs” was die-cut from River Walk and Dress Shop cardstock with the Big Hugs Die Set, adhered together slightly offset, then adhered to the background. The tea party die-cut was popped up with foam tape. I added pink and blue gems from the Happy Hello Sticky Gems Pack to finish off the card.

I’m not a tea drinker myself, but I have several friends who are and this card will be perfect for one of them!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Enjoy your weekend!!
