Hello, crafty friends and happy Tuesday!! I have a fun winter card to share with you today from our flakey family for Honey Bee Stamps!! I absolutely love the snowmen in the Snow Family Like Ours Stamp Set…well, actually I’ve never met a snowman that I didn’t like, but I REALLY LOVE these!! The two little ones are even engaged in a snowball fight!
I began by stamping the snowmen an sentiment from the Snow Family Like Ours Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, then cut them out with the Snow Family Like Ours Honey Cuts. I die-cut the snow from iridescent white glitter cardstock using a die from the same set.
For the background, I heat embossed the Falling Snow Background Stamp onto dark blue cardstock with Fairy Dust Embossing Powder, then cut it out with the largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Honey Cut Set. The trees were die-cut from green cardstock with the Pine Trees Honey Cuts. I inked the edges with Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Ink and a blending brush, then they were adhered to the background with Bee Creative Glue. Next, I splattered on some diluted white gouache for even more snow. Once that was dry, the snow banks were adhered with Bee Creative Glue and the excess was trimmed from the edges. The snow family and sentiment were popped up with foam adhesive. I added a little chunky glitter with Bee Creative Glue to the snowmen and snowballs and that’s it!!
Isn’t this little family the cutest? All of the shine from the glitter, embossing powder and glitter cardstock really catches the light!! Plus, if you’re behind on sending out your Christmas cards like I am, this can even be sent after the holiday!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week!! I’ll see you soon!!
