Good morning!! I hope you are having a great weekend!!
It’s September 1 and that means there’s a new Fun Stampers Journey Stamp of the Month available!!
The Friendship Blessing stamp set is perfect for the upcoming fall season!! I just adore sunflowers and absolutely love coloring these beautiful blooms, so this was right up my alley!! In fact, I stamped it several times on different paper, with different inks so I could color it with all of the mediums!!
For today’s card, I stamped the images on Bristol paper with Ink On 3 Fadeout Ink, colored them with Zig Clean Color Markers and added details with colored pencils. I fussy cut the images, but Coordinating Dies are available. A panel of kraft cardstock was trimmed on each side and a strip of Honey Gold Mirror Cardstock was added to each side, before adhering to a top-folding white cardbase. I splattered the background with gold watercolor and diluted white gouache.
I formed my bouquet and adhered it all together. Once the background was dry, the arrangement was popped up with foam adhesive. The greeting was gold heat embossed onto white cardstock, cut into a rectangle with the Cut-Align and matted with Honey Gold Mirror Cardstock. It was also popped up with foam tape. I added a double twine bow to the stems of the bouquet and a few gold sequins to finish off the card.
I had so much fun coloring this stamp set and love how it turned out!!
