Hello, friends and happy Wednesday!! The new collections from Hero Arts released today!! My Halloween card features the Boo to You Die Set!! This set features four ghosts with a few different facial expressions and accessories to adorn the ghosts with!! I chose to create a more sweet than spooky card today, but you could easily make it more spooky if you want to!!

I began by die-cutting all the pieces for the ghost. The hat was cut from pink pattern paper and orange cardstock; the broom from yellow, black and pink cardstock; the cheeks from pink cardstock and the ghost from white cardstock. The die-cuts were all adhered together with liquid glue.

For the background, I die-cut a panel of orange pattern paper from the Honey Bee Stamps Sweet and Spooky Paper Pad to 4′ x 5.25″ with a rectangle die. I also die-cut a panel of white cardstock with a slightly larger rectangle die and pink cardstock with an A2 die. I used A scalloped circle die from a really old Spellbinders die set to cut the scalloped circle and a circle die to cut a panel of vellum. They were all adhered together using liquid glue and the ghost was popped up in the center of the circle with foam tape.

The sentiment, from the Honey Bee Sweet Halloween Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was adhered with a combination of foam tape and liquid glue. I added google eyes to the ghost for a bit of whimsy and Star Dust Stickles to the band on the hat, cheeks and accent on the broom for a little sparkle.
