Giving Thanks for You, Today and Always – Honey Bee Stamps

Happy Tuesday, crafty friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start!! I have an autumn card to share today featuring lots of goodies from the latest Honey Bee Stamps Falloween Release!!

I began by die-cutting the sign, handle and nail heads in the Lovely Layers: Seasonal Signs Die Set from cream and matte gold cardstock. I added the woodgrain with one of the stencils in the Seasonal Signs Stencil Set using Tea Dye Distress Ink and a blending brush. Next, the pumpkin, sunflowers, foliage and wheat stalks in the Lovely Layers: Mini Fall Florals Die Set were cut from yellow, orange, cream, aqua, green and brown cardstock. I added details and shading using dye inks and Beeluxe Blending Brushes.

For the background, I used the third largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set to cut a panel of pattern paper from the Fall Is In The Air Paper Pad. I trimmed a piece of white cardstock slightly larger than the pattern paper, then adhered them both to a panel of reddish-orange cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set. The sign and all of the die-cuts were arranged and adhered to the background using Bee Creative Glue.

The top layer of “Hello” from the Great Greetings: Everyday Die Set was cut from matte gold cardstock. The bottom layer was cut once from aqua cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The layers were stacked and adhered together using Bee Creative Glue, then added to the sign. The sub-sentiment, from the Mini Messages: Fall Sentiments Stamp Set, was stamped with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and gold heat embossed onto cream cardstock. It was die-cut with a die in the Mini Messages Banners Die Set, then popped up with foam tape to finish off the card.

I absolutely love how this turned out!! I hope you do, as well!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!
