I had so much fun creating my card today!! I KNEW that I HAD to use the adorable mouse holding the shamrock in the Sweet Spring Mice Stamp Set!! I have a feeling you will be seeing her a lot this week!!

I began by stamping the darling mouse in the Sweet Spring Mice Stamp Set with Intense Black Ink. After coloring her with Copic markers, I cut her out with the Coordinating Dies. I also die-cut the mouse three more times from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered it behind the colored one. I added highlights with a white gel pen and some eyelashes with a Copic multi-liner.

I die-cut the background from green cardstock using the Spring Leaves A2 Pierced Cover Plate. Next, I die-cut the fourth smallest heart in the Stacking Hearts Honey Cuts from green gingham paper in the Gingham Galore Spring Paper Pad. The scalloped hearts were cut from white cardstock using the fourth smallest die in the Scallop Hearts Die Set. I adhered the gingham hearts to the scalloped ones with Bee Creative Glue and adhered them to the background panel in a shamrock shape.

The sentiment, from the Thinking of You Big Time Stamp Set, was stamped onto the same green cardstock that I used for the background with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. It was then cut out with the Coordinating Dies. along with three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock. All of the die-cuts were adhered together with the green one on top. They were adhered to the front of the card, along with the sweet little mouse. I added some iridescent green gems from the Hugs and Kisses Gem Sticker Pack for the finishing touch.

I really love how this turned out!! My niece travels on an elite volleyball team, so I think I’ll pop this in the mail to her before a big game!!
