Hey, crafters!! We’re shaking things up on the Crafty Meraki blog this week with shaker cards!! Wreaths and shakers are a match made in heaven, as they give you the perfect opening to add bits to create a shaker card!!

I began by die-cutting the floral wreath image from the Spring Wonder EAP Paper Pad with its Coordinating DIe. I adhered a small piece of acetate to the wreath opening on the back of the die-cut. I added foam adhesive to the back of the wreath, being sure the foam tape completely seals off the inner “well” where I’ll add my shaker bits.

I added Orchid, Petunia and Apricot Dew Drops to the “well” and adhered a piece of pattern paper from the For the Love of Flowers Paper Pad that was trimmed slightly smaller than 5″ x 7″ to the back. The panel was adhered to a white 5″ x 7″ side folding card base.

I die-cut the sentiment from the Gilded Greetings EAP Paper Pad with its Coordinating Die and adhered it with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape. A trio (one of each color included in the shaker bits) was adhered around the sentiment to complete the card.

That does it for me today!! Have a wonderful Wednesday and I’ll see you soon!!
