Hello and happy Tuesday!! I hope you are all doing well!!
I have a fun card to share with you today for Father’s Day!! Masculine cards are often difficult for me, but with the Apron A2 Card Honey Cuts, Apron BBQ Add-on Dies and Kiss the Cook stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps, they just got much easier!!!
I began by die-cutting all of the elements with the Apron A2 Card and Apron BBQ Add-on Die Sets. The apron elements were cut from a piece of denim patterned paper in the Sweet On You Paper Pad, then the pocket was folded along the score lines and adhered with Bee Creative Glue, along with the strap. I used frosted silver cardstock and woodgrain paper to die-cut the utensils and inked some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink onto the handles, then adhered them with liquid adhesive.
All of the sentiments, from the Kiss the Cook Stamp Set, were stamped onto white cardstock with red ink, cut out with the Coordinating Dies, then adhered to the apron. The utensils were tucked into the pocket and adhered. The apron was adhered to panel of confetti patterned paper from the Funfetti Birthday Paper Pad, which was matted with red cardstock. I added some “stitched lines” to the apron and pocket with a white gel pen.
Just think…these innovative products can be used to create masculine cards for ANY occasion!!!
Thank you so much for dropping by today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you soon!!!
