Hap-Bee Fall – Pink & Main

Happy Friday, fellow crafters and card makers!! Fall has definitely been in the air this week in Missouri, but the warmer temperatures will make a return this weekend and into next week!! I’ve been enjoying the cooler weather and creating with all the autumn products in the latest Pink and Main August release!! Pumpkins and sunflowers…yes, please!! Then add in these adorable bees from the Hap-Bee Fall Stamp Set and I’m in love!!

I started by stamping the darling images from the Hap-Bee Fall Stamp Set onto Ice Rink cardstock with Asphalt ink. I used Copic markers to color them, added highlights with a white gel pen, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies.

For the background, I blended Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of Ice Rink cardstock. It was die-cut with the second largest die in the Thick Flag Banners Die Set (a must-have in my book!), then splattered with diluted Mermaid Lagoon and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Inks. Once dry, I tied a piece of Asphalt twine around the top of the banner and tied it into a bow. The banner was adhered to a panel of pattern paper from the Hello Fall Paper Pad that was die-cut with the second largest die in the Layered Rectangles A2 Die Set, then adhered to a white A2 card base.

The sentiment, also from the Hap-Bee Fall Stamp Set, was embossed onto Ice Rink cardstock with the new Tiger Lily embossing powder, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. The sunflowers, pumpkins and top two bees were adhered with liquid glue and the bottom bee and sentiment were popped up with foam tape. I darkened and added shine to the bee’s eyes with a black gel pen and added some orange Stickles to the centers of the sunflowers to finish off the card. (It’s all in the details….am I right?!?)

I just love everything about this and hope you love it, too!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
