Hello, crafty friends and happy Tuesday!! I hope you had a relaxing long weekend!! I have a birthday card to share today for Honey Bee Stamps featuring the Wonderful Wishes Layering Stencil Set!! My stash of birthday cards has dwindled in the last couple of months, so I’ve been trying to build it back up again!!

I began by stenciling the Wonderful Wishes Layering Stencils onto white cardstock using dye inks and Beeluxe Blending Brushes. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out and set them aside to dry.

For the background, I embossed the Sandie’s Garden 3D Embossing Folder onto a panel of white cardstock. It was trimmed slightly and adhered to an A2 panel of gingham cardstock from the Gingham: Happy Hearts Paper Pad.

Now that the stenciled cake is fully dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Big Bold Birthday Stamp Set onto it with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. The cake stand, cake and candles were all adhered to the background with foam tape. I added some sparkle to the centers of the flowers and the flames on the candles with Stardust Stickles, then chose pearls from the Celebration Pearl Sticker Pack that matched my ink colors perfectly.

I love how this turned out!! I can’t wait to make more in other color combinations!!
