Happy Belated Birthday – Honey Bee Stamps

Happy Tuesday, fellow crafters!! I hope your week is off to a great start!! I have a colorful belated birthday card to share with you today for Honey Bee Stamps!!

I stamped the adorable images from the Belated Birthday Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. The sub-sentiment was stamped onto black cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink, embossed with white embossing powder, and also cut out with the Coordinating Die.

For the background, I blended Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of Bristol smooth cardstock. I used Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet to create my rainbow. Once the panel was totally dry, the Celebrate Background Stamp was stamped onto it with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The panel was die-cut with the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set and adhered to a panel of black cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the same set.

The top layer of the main sentiment, from the Big Birthday Die Set, was die-cut once from black cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The bottom layer was cut once from white cardstock. All the layers were stacked and adhered together, then adhered to the background with Bee Creative Glue. The snail, gift, party hat and sentiment die-cuts were all popped up with foam adhesive. Let’s Party Gem Stickers were the perfect finishing touch.

The inside of the card reads “I’m just extending the celebration”, also from the Belated Birthday Stamp Set. It was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

That’s it for me today!! Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great week!!
