Hello, friends and happy Saturday!! I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend!!

Have you joined in the collaboration IG hop with Catherine Pooler and Alex Syberia Designs? You have until January 18th join in on Thursday’s hop and there’s another one happening next week!! I’m sharing the details today for my card that I shared on the hop.

I have been dying to use the Modern Weave Stencil Set and this collaboration was perfect timing!! I blended Party Dress, Lime Rickey and Limoncello Catherine Pooler inks through the stencils with blending brushes. These inks blend like butter! I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to an A2 panel of yellow cardstock, then a white card base.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Wishes Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Party Dress and Lime Rickey inks. I trimmed it into a rectangle, matted it with yellow cardstock and popped it up with foam adhseive.

I adhered some coordinating rhinestones and this card was finished.

Such a simple design, but it really packs a punch with the Modern Weave background and bright inks…a match made in heaven, if you ask me!!
