Hello, crafty friends!! I have a fun card to share with you today for the outdoor enthusiast featuring the Tent and Campfire Die Set from the newest Scrappy Tails Crafts Release!! I’m more into “glamping” than tent camping myself, but this die set is adorable!!

I began by doing all of the die-cutting to create my scene from red, green, brown, tan, light gray, dark gray, orange and yellow cardstock using the Tent and Campfire Die Set. Quick tip: I didn’t have another color of red cardstock that looked good for the tent, so I used an alcohol marker to color some of the die-cuts darker.

For the background, I blended Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide onto the top of an A2 panel of white cardstock for the sky and Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron at the bottom for the ground. All of the die-cuts were arranged and adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment is from the Camping Essentials Die Set. The top layer was die-cut once from red cardstock and the bottom layer three times from heavyweight white cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then adhered to the front of the card.
