Happy Thursday, friends!! I’m sharing a sweet Easter basket shaped card featuring several of the new stamps and dies from the latest Trinity Stamps release!!

I started by die-cutting the base of the card from aqua cardstock using the Egg Shaped Card Die Set. I folded it along the score line and reinforced the fold with a Teflon Folding Tool. I added a bit of darker aqua dye ink around the outside with a Shading Sidekick Brush.

Next, I die-cut all of the pieces in the Easter Basket Add-on Die Set from pink, peach, purple, green, yellow and brown cardstock. I chose coordinating dye inks and adding some shading and dimension using Shading Sidekick Brushes. I had the Halftone Texture Stencil laying on my desk from another card, so I decided it would be fun to add some polka dots to the eggs.

All of the die-cuts were arranged onto the front of the card base and adhered with a combination of liquid glue and foam squares. I used a white gel pen to add in some highlights and a black glaze pen to add some shine to the bunny’s eye.

The sentiment was created with a combination of the Simply Sentimental: Easter Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies. “Happy” from the stamp set, was stamped onto pink cardstock with Versamark ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder, then trimmed into a narrow strip. I blended a bit of darker pink ink onto a piece of pink cardstock, the die-cut the top layer of “Easter”, from the Simply Sentimental: Easter Die Set, from it, along with two more layers from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was cut twice from heavyweight white cardstock. The layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then adhered to the front of the card. The sentiment strip was popped up with foam tape.

A couple of small flowers were adhered next to the sentiment. The leaves were adhered with liquid glue and the flowers were popped up with foam squares. Pineapple Twinkle Stardust Rhinestones accent the center of each of the flowers and add a bit of sparkle to finish off the card.

I love everything about this card!! The colors, the shape…it all just makes me happy!!
